Grief and Loss

Grief is the price of love. It is one of the most universal and most isolating human experiences — and one that deserves compassionate, skilled support.

Grief is not limited to the death of a loved one. We grieve the end of relationships, the loss of health, jobs, dreams, and identities. Any significant loss can trigger a grief response.

Grief does not follow a predictable timeline or a neat set of stages. It is messy, non-linear, and deeply personal. What you feel — whether numbness, rage, relief, or profound sadness — is valid.

Complicated grief, also called prolonged grief disorder, occurs when grief becomes stuck and interferes with daily functioning for an extended period. Therapy can help when grief feels unmanageable or unending.

Healing does not mean forgetting. It means learning to carry your loss in a way that allows you to live fully again.
